On April 26, 2016, Hanover, Germany OPC foundation, dedicated to create and maintain open specification, will obtain the process data, alarm and event records, historical data and batch up to suppliers enterprise systems and data transmission between the production equipment and transfer such information standardization, so as to realize interoperability in the field of industrial automation. OPC's goal is to become the interoperability standards, realize the information from the factory floor vertical transmission enterprise systems up to supplier, at the same time made from different suppliers, in different industries to achieve interoperability of devices on the network.

CC - Link association is an international organization, has more than 2600 member companies around the world. Their common goal is to promote the further development of the advanced open web technology, such as IE (industrial Ethernet) and CC cc-link Link (fieldbus).

Digitizing, industrial automation in various fields in this request factory advances in the process of using Internet technology to make communication at all levels remain consistent, for example, cloud-based services. The OPC foundation and CLPA development support consistent access interface specification can hope to achieve goals.

At hannover messe 2016, OPC foundation President and executive director, Thomas j. Burke and the secretary for the association of cc-link ms nakamura Naomi signed a memorandum of cooperation, the two sides agreed to the close cooperation, to jointly develop the interface. OPC foundation President and executive director, says Mr Burke "OPC foundation and CLPA this cooperation will be for the CC - Link network and the communication equipment and cloud provides a full range of solutions. For selected reliable CC - Link network end users, will also be able to integrate with other different system, completely implement the data and information exchange."

CLPA bureau director ms nakamura Naomi said, "CLPA stood at the forefront of the field, is committed to provide solutions to help users achieve industrial 4.0 vision. For example, using our unique gigabit Ethernet, IE cc-link can provide the highest bandwidth for such applications. Through cooperation with OPC foundation, we hope to promote the further development of this technology. Our goal is to be calculated to simplify by supporting edge to get the data from the machine operation. By extending our CSP + technology, combined with OPC UA - at the same time, many different machine operation can be as simple as a single device. This will help throughout the enterprise and even a wider range easily implement information sharing."

About the CC-Link Association (CLPA)

CC - Link association (CLPA) is an international organization, has more than 2600 member companies around the world. Their common goal is to promote and further develop open cc-link network technology, to share to help customers achieve integrated manufacturing vision. IE cc-link unique gigabit performance to 4.0 for industry, IIoT and chinese-made 2025 all automation efforts to lay the basis of the best. This will help customers create the required infrastructure, to deal with such challenges. CLPA also provides seamless communication protocol configuration file (SLMP) and the control and communication system (CSP +) technology. Using SLMP, any Ethernet devices can be connected to the CC - Link network, the CSP + help to quickly and easily on network configuration and maintenance.
