Installation Steps for RS-232
1. Power-off the host computer.
2. Connect Reader HS-2D Manual HS-2D PDF the 8-pin mini-DIN on the
cable to the HS-2D.
3. Connect HS-2D PDF the 9-pin D-sub connector to
the HS-2D Manual host computer's serial port.
4. Connect the cable HS-2D PDF to the power supply.

the host computer.
6. Start up a terminal program (such as
ESP's Terminal HS-2D User's Manual view or HyperTerminal)
and set to 57.6K baud, 8 data bits,
none parity, and 2 stop bits.
